Welcome to Bushwick Catering Co., located in the heart of Bushwick. Our existing infrastructure has been in business for 13 years and we currently operate in a 15,000 Square Foot Commissary that creates thousands of meals daily for various establishments within the NYC area. 

We have now expanded into a full-scale catering company, offering event planning, corporate dining, social event catering and & private chefs. Here at Bushwick Catering Co. we strive to use fresh, in season ingredients along with incorporating new culinary trends. Meet Chef Michael

Chef Michael

Michael Golub’s culinary career began early on, however it didn’t happen right away. Back in his Native country of Russia, Michael was studying to become a doctor. Michael then chose to immigrate to America where he was going to continue his pre medical route, but life threw him a curve ball. As an immigrant, not knowing the English Language and needing to make ends meet for his family, a friend offered him an opportunity to work in his catering business. Golub’s culinary repertoire flourished during this time, where he developed and refined his culinary techniques. Michael slowly worked his way to the top and the rest is history!

 

After spending 10 years working in the catering business, he opened his first restaurant in 2005 in Cedarhurst, NY. His restaurant flourished and he opened two more locations in Westchester and Manhattan. In 2016, he sold the entire operation and began a Catering Production Company dedicating to producing small and large corporate and social events with a niche for Weddings. In leu of this, he is a Culinary Director for Pesach in the North East which is a Passover Program done yearly for 1200 people.

 Chef Michael has produced events both Domestically and Internationally, which include NYC, California, Florida, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and more. No destination is out of reach for Chef Michael Golub. From his Travels, Chef Michael has developed a mature palate. He has taken inspiration from his various destinations and used it to develop and create his cuisine.  Chef Michael infuses flavors from his global travels to meet the needs of his clients. No matter how big or small an event, Chef Michael enjoys being creative and aims to please using the freshest ingredients. He believes that every detail matters so that beautiful memories can be made with your loved ones during your event!
